This IS NOT A Stone (#7)

in #art9 years ago (edited)

“As many people do, everywhere I go I pick up pebbles from the ground. I look at them intensely before I put them in my pocket to take home with me.

And when I was still in school our art teacher always took us to old sand mines to search for little gem stones like jaspis.

In my drawings from the sixties one will always find some images of stones. Sometimes black with heavy white vains running through them. Sometimes represented as a watch with a little chain and winding mechanism.”

Great but why did you put all this in between quotes ??

Because it is a quote from JvKvH, not my own words.

Oh I thought you were JvKvH. The picture is also from JvKvH.

Ah, no, I am hatsekidee, or RoFlow ;-)

Sry, I am only just starting to understand the best way to post series longterm... I have today started to add a link to the last post of the series at the end of every post so one can easily "scroll" back through the whole series.

But especially for you, here's a link to the very first post of this longterm post series:

I hope you'll enjoy the journey!
