Pseudo-nature!? This is beyond me!
People keep building and building, changing their surroundings, presumably going forward...
And they spend money and time on creating gardens that look as much as 'nature' as possible; pseudo-nature.
Okay! Now I know what you mean! That pseudo nature is not real nature at all.
Or is it? You could state that all is nature, even an artifically made replica of nature in a suburbian garden. It is at least as much nature as the contained wilderness that the cited Renée Steenbergen talks about.
The most interesting to me, is the question "what is nature" that derives from this citation.
Well said! Definition can be very subjective and fuzzy.
