The drawing is good, but I feel it is a bit lackluster without any background.

It was a good idea to post it. It will also be a good idea to draw in a background. It's only a bad idea to dwell on it.
Ik that, but I like to say my grievances when I post something, otherwise I end up just posting a picture and saying " I like how this one came out" and that's it.
