RE: "Dreamspunk" | Gallery: Fine Art
You have a minor misspelling in the following sentence:
It's like everyone decided to reject the computerized shininess of the new millenium and instead opt for an idealised past of grit, dirt and mechanics. It should be millennium instead of millenium.
lol... Uhm, thanks for pointing that out, I guess. I can't for the life of me imagine why your account has a reputation of 12... It's like somehow people don't like being corrected!
Hahahahaha. 'grammarnazi' is a term I loathe. And what a correction. You missed ONE n.
Anyway, getting to the actual point of the post - love the work, yo! Yeah, I think the whole industrial grunge is something a lot of people prefer over crisp, surreal, science-fictiony art. I personally like a combination of the two. You ever tried to write some science fiction to accompany this sort of work?
lol... Yes, I also loathe the term, especially as an English teacher ;P
Thank you for your words. And actually, yes, I have tried some writing with my work before, way back! ... Check out this post ^^
Took me a while but I got around to reading it. What a great introduction! Love the excerpt that accompanies the MB3D. It's a bit dark and seems like there's an impending doom that hangs over the whole universe. Looking forward to more stuff!
