Modo: 3D tutorial course. Any takers?
I would cover interface essentials, navigation, the toolset, setting up reference pictures and how to take a simple cube to a recognizable model.
Is there any interest? Let me know in the comments below or by upvoting. If you would like to follow along The Foundry has a 30 day free trial of Modo - just click the photo below. If there is enough interest I shall begin recording in the next few days.
UPDATE! Thanks for all the interest! 70 upvotes and plenty of comments means this will be a thing!

Nice initiative gmuxx, I once tried 3d with an intel i3 laptop running 3ds max. . . . . one of my simple render stood at 3 years of completion time.
I'm up for it .
3 years? :O
I can easily run Modo on my Surface Pro so think an i3 Laptop will be fine
Great, nice to have you onboard with this
I play about in Blender but would like to see how other programs work.
Great! I tried Blender but didn't get along with it.
I only dabble with the basics of it but i enjoy playing around with it when I get time.
Cracking idea sir.
I'm afraid time will stop me joining in but I'll certainly follow along and support where I can. the only roadblock you might find is the software, there's a free trial but after that it's not cheap.
I'd be interested to see how it matches up with alternative 3D modelling software though (article idea?)
xoxo
Thank you.
This is true about the expense. The Foundry now have a subscription service but still, far from cheap. Nice idea about the article but don't feel qualified to spout off about software I haven't gotten to grips with.
I was drooling...
Very interested! I downloaded Modo, and have been playing around with it for a few days.
Excellent, this looks like a definite series
You made those from scratch on Modo?!?!?! They're amazing!!
I did. 😁
Thank you
I would LOVE to participate.
Awesome!
Very cool. Great idea!
