Put It Out And Let The World Decide
Back in the day when I first joined Steemit, 9 months ago, I thought I was going to be posting mostly art and the process of making it.
However, the posts I made didn't get much attention. Maybe that was simply because I was new to Steemit.
Whatever the reason, I thought I might a post a few pieces again and see what happens this time around.

This is the yellow version of my mixed media art which I created to encourage others who were fearful of sharing their creations to put it out there anyway.
Art is such a subjective experience that even if we don't like something we create, chances are someone else will and vice versa.
Might as well share it and move on. Hence, "Put It Our and Let The World Decide".

What an inspiring and challenging phrase! I hope you get some great feedback on your mixed media art. I have tried some things along the way that I probably should test again.

This is so true. We are often the worst critics of our own works.
How many artists works were ignored by the artist but loved by the public?...loads. :-)
I find I frequently change my mind too, about my own art @molometer.
I might go to bed not liking it and then get up in the morning having changed my mind. Then put it away for weeks and come back to it and not like it again. Depends on my mood! 😂
I agree, just put it out there. Sometimes I have created a piece that didn't turn out to be my own style in my own eyes...LOL.... and somebody else loved it. There's no accounting for the good and the differences we can each see in the same piece, just like having a different point of view on anything else.
Just putting it out there reminds me of a quote contributed to Andy Warhol
"Don't think about making art, just get it done. Let everyone else decide if it's good or bad, whether they love it or hate it. While they are deciding, make even more art"

Like you say art is completely subjective, one man's Mona Lisa is another's crappy drawing. But there's something that just get's me about your piece of art, it's so beautiful and simple. I can't stop staring at it.
There's just something about that purple and that kind of sandy yellow against the newspaper print. The way the flower is placed, the geometry of the whole thing. And of course the lovely message. I love it! 😍😍😍
