The unfolding story of how I became a professional artist (week 7)
The journey continues!
As with anything it's tough to build good habits. I was talking with a coworker the other day about how she wanted to quit smoking and how it's so much easier to create bad habits. But, in creating good habits, it always seems the goal is so much farther away. I've been trying to make a habit of doing at least an hours worth of drawing every day and I've been able to achieve that or more for the last few days. I'll keep forcing the habit, I'm hoping to become an art addict.
This week is filled with more Copic Markers and Pentel Pocket Brush practicing. I'm really trying hard to get away from relying too heavily on the pencil because I don't want it to become a crutch. There are a few in there where my frustration got the better of me and I went back to doing pencil but I also feel like I had some success with the pocket brush in some of the later ones. Please enjoy these, thanks for looking!
