A friend's graduation exhibit 友人の卒業展にて

Last week I made an hour train ride to Stuttgart. My good friend M had her final exhibition. We know each other for seven years. Until now we always ended up a train ride away :) But now she is leaving for Nepal, several more train rides further.
先週電車に乗ってシュテゥットガルトまで行きました。芸大からの友人マナちゃんがいよいよ卒業をしました。出会ってから７年間が経って、日本とドイツでずっと近くにいて、本当にびっくりです。卒業して一時帰国とその後遠くのネパールへ行っちゃうのです。

I stayed over and we had breakfast on the last three chairs. All the other furniture was given away.
Someday I hope we'll become independent artists and have a two person show together. In Mizuma gallery or...Tokyo Museum of Contemporary Art, or in Moma :)
一泊して、朝ごはんを食べながら、またいつ会えるのかについて話しました。「ミヅマギャラリーで二人展をしようね」、「そう、東京現代美術もいいかもね」。

Someday...　またいつか。。。

M made this wonderful painting installation. Can't wait to see how her work develops from now on.
