I found some Copic markers while preparing to move. 🎨

引越しの準備でコピックを発見

So I drew another girl in a furisode to try them out.
I couldn't wait so I even inked it in one go over the blue pencil underdrawing. The underdrawing was barely visible so I didn't make any progress photos, but I did make a time-lapse video of the inking process :)

振袖シリーズがカラーイラストにぴったりと思って、続けて描いてみました。時間があまりなくて、青色のシャーペンを使い、直接にペン入れをしました。途中写真をしなかったが、ペン入れのタイムラプスを記録しました。

The blue lead I use is extremely pale and hard to see. It's almost non-erasable, so you need to be very precise as well.
I used the Pilot Color Eno blue lead before. Although erasable and easy to see, the ink doesn't sit very well and I avoid it like a plague.

IC Comic Draft Blue はみづらくて、消えにくいです。でも、ペン入れは以外とスラスラと描きます。他のパイロットの青色シャーペンを使ったことがありますが、ペンが滑ったり、インク乗りが悪いため、あまりお勧めしません。

Copics interact with paper in a very different way than watercolor 😅 . I hoped to use them together but there is still a lot to figure out.　コピックの紙との相性がまた水彩と違うのですね。一緒に使いたいが、まだ自信がないです。研究します＾＾
