BEING A RECOGNIZED COLLAGE ARTIST AS DREAMED WORK [WHAT I DO]

My father always says “do whatever you want, but do it right, so you could feel comfortable and happy with the work in which you will invert a lot of time of your life”. Humans tend to have different types of works according to the age, capacities and competences that each one of us has. Even though my dreamed work is not very common and my father thinks it is weird, I have creative competences that allow me to communicate messages through collages, and there’s no any doubt that I would like to get paid for it. That’s why my vision in life is being a recognized collage artist since I became aware it is one of my passions and I can display how I see the world through asymmetric magazine cuts. 

Creating collages makes me feel passionate about life and that is all I want to feel in a job. Working as artist have never been easy because art is always welcomed by a small group of people, but I know that if I keep doing what I love with passion, good results will be accomplished. I have one year and half creating collages and 405 followers in my Instagram account in which I publish my illustrations, and up to now, I have sold two collages, collaborated in a Venezuelan on-line magazine and created two specific orders: Therefore, it is not impossible.

 I explore myself through creating collages. Sitting in my chair, picking up some magazines, cutting selected images and joining them hormonally in order to communicate an idea have been a way of expanding my creativity and exploring what is inside of me, because selecting an image “at random” have demonstrated to be my unconscious talking. My dream is having a work that can make me more creative and introspective, while at the same time people enjoy feeling identified with my creations and looking for their own interpretation.

In conclusion, I want to feel happiness and fullness with my future job and creating collages has demonstrated to be more than just a simple activity that I like to do. Being recognized because my art is an idea that makes me keep the passion with my project, and feeling this way will help me to achieve my goals while I grow as person. I promise I'm going to keep myself working on this platform!
