Artist of the Day - Week 6, Day 2 ~ @christianyocte
Hello Steemians. Welcome to the second day of our fresh 6th week of dishing out shine on deserving Steemit artists. There's something about getting a single thank you from someone you appreciated and that is our single drive!
We are still small and young but we intend on expanding as we give this community artists a platform to shine in every supportive post we put out.
What would life be without art? A dull, meaningless existence.
What would art be without life? An empty, white canvas.
This blog is here to bring you all these beautiful, imaginative creatures that use their skills to express themselves through their work.
Our Artist of the Day:
In our second day of the 6th week, meet Christian Yocke from the Philipines. He's 29 years and a Junior High School Teacher who teaches Technical Drafting. He swears his dream was to become an architect or a civil engineer but he found himself infront of a class teaching.
When he's not with his students, pencils and brushes call on his artistic side. He loves drawing potraits, sketching, nudity pointillism and poetry plus photography. His blog is more of his gallery as his bio says and a hub of support for other artists. For someone who has been around for 9 months, he's definitely very active.
His latest piece is a beautiful and very detailed potrait of a beaming couple. Go check it out!
