Paying for image rights is an issue that I hope the steem system can solve. We'd collab much more if rewards were autosplit so it removed ghe complexity out of managing payouts for rights.
For now its simple enough to negotiate some percentage, and the payout is recorded on the blockchain. It would, however, be easy enough for a programmer to set it to split rewards automatically. Also id like to create a brand around the idea of promoting blogs that only use steemian generated images
