Learning To Draw Faces
This should have been my first step in learning to draw. I mean learning the proportion. But don't worry, I'm on the right track, after two portraits, this is my third one. Besides, the first two were not exactly a disaster, the second one was goon (in my humble opinion :D).
My first step is always to look for a video tutorial. This time I found one which is very explicit.
It's a bit difficult to understand what this guy is saying because he has a very strong (hindi I guess) accent but if you follow his steps you'll be fine!
This definitely helps to place the eyes, the nose and the lips to the right place.
Having these line and proportions helped a lot, drawing the nose was very easy.
The lips were not so easy to draw, I think I need a lot of practice in the future.
Does he look like a human being? I think he does :D What do you think?
What about these two? :)
I'm satisfied with the drawing but I still like this guy more, a lot more :D

Thanks a lot @pixresteemer!
Yours is better. The one from the video looks kind of unnatural. My opinion....
Thank you dear Roxy! It's good to hear that! 😁 As much as I hated drawing people and faces, it looks like portrait is my new obsession! I love it, although only did three 🙂
Just keep doing it and you'll get better and better. I always wanted to draw landacapes and I did it when in school. Trust me, Picasso was nothing compared with my art. 😂
My father gave me a camera and taught me how to use it therefore I stopped tormenting the paper and pencil.
I'm agree with you
I'm so glad you say that, you just made my day :)
