More than a 2 months has passed since i have made a portrait drawing. Last portrait that made was in the end of December. That was the last commissioned portrait i did , because December is the busiest month for me. Everyone is searching for presents and a unique hand drawn portrait is an excellent choice. Of course from time to time i got commissions now too, birthdays etc or just self portraits that people want.
Now this portrait is not commissioned. This one will be a present for one special person from me. Made some detailed photos to show you how am breaking this work in parts. I will go slowly with no rush. After the eye will be done i will start the upper eyebrow and will start shading around the eye. Only then i will move to the other eye and too pretty much the same thing. Then as usual i will draw the nose, lips, just my ordinary way how i am drawing portraits. Yet in this one i am planning to be extra careful not to make any mistakes and some extra time on details and small things will be necessary.
I am using two pencils here. For the basic shapes and lighter parts i am using H pencil, and for the darker ones as usual-2B
