So now i can show some progress on my current dark charcoal drawing.Today will spend all day working on this.

I am still working slowly on the other side of the face. I have already used about 5 charcoal pencils. One they get too small, i am picking a new one. It is just hard to hold, if it small, and the details are not looking right. Some are smaller or some are too large then. Sometimes it feels bad if you have to start a new one, only if it is half used. But i am not throwing them away anyway. There are times when i need to shade,or color something with charcoal, or i am just making charcoal powder out of them. I am trying to use every tool i have to the maximum benefit.
I think i will go back to the other side too, because it is not finished yet, The top corner and the texture is also now what i want in the end. I want it more realistic. Smooth and so that the layers pass each other with no sign of separation.
