Dark and White Charcoal Pencils
Here i wanted to share with you the exact charcoal pencils which i am using.
The first one is Dark charcoal pencil. There are as some of you maybe know-3 types of those.
Light
Medium
Dark
I have used all of those, but for the last 6 months i think i have been using only Dark one. I tried using lighter ones, for lighter places in the drawings, but actually i found th to be more complicated for me, taking too much time and the result was even worse than it was when i did the whole drawing with Dark charcoal pencil. Maybe that is because in the beginning of working with it, i mastered using one particular pencil, and pushing it just enough to have the right tone i need. So it was for me harder to mix all of those pencils together. Overall it is very rare that i am using light or medium one.
This is white charcoal pencil that i am using. I have made only 6 works overall with it. I am happy that 5 of those works i have sold and shipped away. For me that is showing that, i suppose, the works were great. I haven't yet figured out all the secrets and limits if there are any on how to use this pencil and i am slowly finding new techniques. The last work i did with this was a Dalmatian. Finished it last month, and it was my very first drawing in the new year.
