🔹 "Potomok 79" Original Story and Art by Andrey Lebed + Parts ▪️ ✅
Hello everyone! Today I'd like to share with you this drawing, which I have been doing for several months for my own project.
The action takes place in one of the alternative cities of the future, representing industrial structures, in conjunction with residential buildings that go into the ground, where the basic life of the population occurs. It is a city that was created to prevent the death of mankind, animals and plants from solar radiation and lack of oxygen, which caused great damage to all living things on the planet.. (Based on the story below the game will be created). Two people have already been involved... They will help me in creating the concept art, as well as in modeling and optimizing the models for the game. All this parts I will share with you.
The original story of "Potomok 79"
In connection with the formation of a permanent ozone holes, natural ozone could no longer hold back the sun's ultraviolet radiation. The cause of all this was a kind of anthropogenic sources, such as: industrial cities, launching of rockets into space (and those that were intended for nuclear tests). as well as various chemical vapors that were obtained during the extraction and processing of numerous fossils. Consequently, the critical reduction of the ozone layer due to increased contamination of the planet significantly increased the flux of solar radiation, which affected the explosive growth of skin cancer and other diseases. Because of this, the death rate of the population was growing rapidly. No less harmful was the impact of the formed ozone holes for plants and animals on Earth.
2068 year. In order to protect both themselves and living organisms, each of the existing countries began building cities deep into the earth, to ensure maximum protection of the population and to prevent the extinction of animals and plants.
2079 year. Completion of the construction of the first underground city, where life is built on hierarchy. All those who have the power and money have the opportunity to live on the surface in fully protected from ultraviolet radiation buildings. All the rest, live at "working levels", where everyone is obliged every day to carry out his job on time, and to provide a stable life and development of the entire population into city.
2117 year. In the world, more than 1,000 underground cities have been built, which are connected to each other by means of underground vehicles and external supersonic hybrid trains. Inside each city an artificial eco system is created, allows to reproduce the processes of photosynthesis for all vegetation, thereby cultivating everything necessary both humans and animals.

OMG such detail! Love this drawings and the story is really fascinating. I working on a project in school right now where the theme is mobility in cities 2025. I look at interactions and connections between people and vehicles and things to transport. You futuristic idea is rather cool and inspiring for me:-)
