The first animated version of Superman in the Superman Adventures series. Part 8

Today we will talk about the continuation of the story of Superman.

The action takes place in the "Animated DC Universe". In the Daily Planet, Clark, after learning from Jimmy about a plane crash over the city, quickly runs to the laundry. Changing clothes while running, Kent jumps out the window. After 3 seconds, the main character notices that he has lost his strength. Fortunately, he is saved by the sudden appearance of Superman. When the man of steel leaves Clark on the roof of a building and stops the plane, Clark tries to figure out what's going on. Lois laughs at the surprised Kent.
Later, the main character, Lane and Olsen come to a conference of Professor Hamilton, who presents everyone with a huge piece of kryptonite. Deciding to check something else, Clark touches the stone and nothing happens. Walking around the city, Kent begins to think that he is crazy. In one area, he is attacked by two people. They beat and rob the main character. Fortunately, the policeman quickly disperses them and helps Clark to get up. The main character asks the first to take him to the "Kent Farm".
When Clark comes to his parents, he tells them about what happened. Pa and Ma, not understanding what is happening, explain to the main character that he was never an alien. After the conversation, everyone sees that a tornado is heading to the farm. Fortunately, the man of steel removes it.
The next day, Clark, after saying goodbye to his parents, returns to Metropolis. Arriving at the Daily Planet, the main character discovers that he received a message that was repeated for 90 days. After reading it, Clark realizes who is pretending to be Superman.
Later, Kent calls the man of steel to his apartment. When this works, the main character declares that Superman is not who he claims to be, and demands proof. Arriving with Clark at the pier, the Kryptonian lifts the yacht. Kent then asks Superman to read the contents of the envelope in his jacket using X-ray vision. There the main character wrote down the names of all the enemies of the man of steel, but wrote one on the contrary. After reading it, the Kryptonian begins to panic. As expected, Superman turns out to be Mister Mxyzptlk, who just wanted to drive Clark crazy. When Mxyzptlk returns to the "Fifth Dimension", Kent regains his powers. After hearing police sirens and changing clothes, Kal-El goes to look for the source of the cause of these sounds.
