PREVIOUS

During the invasion of the dominators, former diplomat Christopher Smith, becoming a Peacemaker, saw inexplicable things that almost drove him crazy. One of them is the torture of the main character, arranged by the dominators and Desaad. They were trying to find out where Captain Atom was. After the defeat of the aliens, he renounces his heroic mantle.

Later, Amanda Waller sends Christopher to a psychologist. There Smith says that someone is controlling him. When the doctor asks what the main character experienced during the first invasion of the dominators, he begins to suspect something and leaves.

Back at his house, Christopher furiously throws the helmet to the other end of the room. He comes to life and tells Smith to pick him up. The helmet explains that the main character hears it only in his head. The headdress tells Christopher to put it on and become a Peacemaker again.

PRESENT

Waller sends Christopher to Siberia to prevent a war with Russia. Having penetrated one of the secret bases, Smith sees the dominator's corpse and realizes that these aliens may be the culprits of this situation. On the table, the protagonist finds an unknown ampoule and a map of the city of Dangerfield, Arizona. After leaving the base, Christopher returns to his plane. The helmet tells Smith to go to Dangerfield. When the Peacemaker approaches the plane, someone shoots him in the back. The shooter turns out to be a KGBeast. The headdress burns Anatoly's face with a laser beam. A second later, a Rocket Red Brigade is flying behind them. The main character tries to fly away from his pursuers, but one of them lands on his plane. Turning on the autopilot, Christopher throws a grenade at the enemy. When the Rocket Red Brigade falls behind, Smith goes to Dangerfield.

Arriving at the place, the Peacemaker, seeing nothing, realizes that the remaining aliens have created a special disguise around the city. The helmet manages to open a small passage. When the main character gets to Dangerfield, the headdress stops talking. Along the way, Christopher kills countless different aliens. He rescues five surviving children. They are:

• Helen Daggle
• Liza
• Theresa
• Vance Hutchins

Considering that everything is over, Smith leaves.

5 years later, the former Peacemaker hears the helmet again, which reports that somewhere in Arizona there is a guy who somehow escaped from the aliens. It turns out that the voice all this time belonged to Brother Power, who is severely injured because of the dominators. This guy is the missing one.

Having once again assembled a team of rescued children, the main character decides to find this person.

After meeting with Brother Power in northern Arizona, Christopher takes him to a safe place and informs him that he and the rest of the team have a lot of work to do.
