A soldier who Kills for Peace, in the Doomsday Clock series

in #art2 years ago

Hello!

Today I will tell you about the Peacemaker, his real name is Christopher Smith.

The action takes place on Earth 0. Watching TV, Christopher learns about the "problem" of the number of metahumans, especially in the USA.

Later it turns out that Hawk (0) and Dove (0), while in Russia, are fighting Chechen terrorists. But due to interference in the affairs of the police, they are detained by the Red Rocket Brigade (0).

A few days later, Smith learns that the people of Gotham want Batman (0) to take off his mask, and that an unknown metahuman tried to kill Lex Luthor (0).

Later, the Peacemaker watches the news with the appeal of the most loyal and powerful metahuman in Russia - Mikhail Arkadin, known as Pozhar (0). He gained his abilities as a result of the Chernobyl disaster and over the next few years, having learned to control his abilities, he began to serve Russia.

Due to the irresponsible actions of Hank and Dawn, Pozhar declares that from now on his country closes its borders to all foreigners, metahumans and others.

In parallel, the main character is watching the movie "The Adjournment".

Time passes. Christopher sees Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin's (0) address on behalf of Russia and Markovia in the news. The President says that these two countries had to unite for a common goal. As a result, Russia is creating a team of heroes to fight American metahumans - People's Heroes (0). In their composition:

  • Black Eagle
  • Lady Flash
  • Negative Woman
  • Pozhar
  • Red Star
  • Vostok-X II
  • Firebird
  • Morozko
  • Perun
  • Rusalka
  • Snow Owl
  • Steel Wolf
  • Tundra
  • Vikhor

This team will work together with Geo-Force (0) and Outsiders II (0).

Later, Smith sees the appeal:

  • Firestorm (Ronnie Raymond) (0), claiming to have also become a metahuman due to an accident;
  • Killer Frost (Louise Lincoln) (0), refuting Ronnie's words, and reporting that she, too, was created by the American government;
  • Jack Ryder (0), kidnapped by the Cobra Cult (0) on the north side of Kandaq. When a cult member is about to kill Jack, he is stopped by Black Adam (0);
  • Black Adam, who violated the signed agreement. Teth-Adam declares that Kontakion will be happy to accept any meta-human seeking asylum;

After some time, the news reports about the beginning of the metahuman revolution.

Time passes. The Peacemaker sees a report from Benghazi, where Superman (0) rescues schoolchildren taken hostage.

After that, it is reported that a man calling himself a Comedian (Watchmen Universe) is responsible for the explosions in the sewers of Gotham.

A few days later, the main character sees the news: hundreds of people took to the streets of Moscow to protest the new law on metahumans, according to which people will be tested for the presence of "metagen" at birth.

Firestorm illegally invades Moscow and attacks the People's Heroes. When the latter lower Raymond to the ground, a crowd of people pounce on him. Ronnie unleashes a wave of fire that turns the crowd into glass statues. After that, the Firestorm flies away from the city.

Later, Putin declares war on Raymond and members of the US government, after which he joyfully welcomes Superman, who has arrived in Moscow. Kal-El always speaks not on behalf of America, but on behalf of all people on the planet. Clark tells about his origin, and also that the situation with the glass statues, which is an accident, can still be corrected. Kent calls for a truce, but Putin does not believe him. When a Firestorm arrives in Moscow, Russian troops, without hesitation, open fire and accidentally hit the statues, which also fall under the tracks of tanks. People's Heroes attack Ronnie and Superman. As a result, all the statues were destroyed. Out of grief, Raymond accidentally releases a blue blast wave that sent Kal-El into a coma. The explosion also affects the bat plane that Bruce was sitting inside. The latter also ends up in a coma. As a result, the victims find themselves in a tachyon fog.

A few hours later, Russia demands that the Justice League disclose the identity, and America declares that it will no longer help Superman.

After 5 days and 3 hours, most of the heroes, including Christopher, after learning that the blue explosion was not caused by a Firestorm, but by someone on Mars (0), decides to deal with it. As part of the heroes who went to Mars:

When they land, the Green Lanterns create a barrier around the planet, and Ronnie creates air around the rest. Everyone sees a city in the distance. When the heroes enter it, Doctor Manhattan (Watchmen Universe) appears before them. Having considered Osterman a psycho, Guy forms constructs of fallen enemies around him and explains that jokes are bad with all the heroes.

John conveys to all those who have arrived on Mars a vision of Doctor Manhattan, in which, among the wreckage, a furious Superman strikes the last blow at Osterman, after which everything ceases to exist. Realizing that Manhattan decided to prevent this by destroying all the heroes of Earth 0, they attack him. Gardner wrings Osterman's neck.

A few seconds later, Doctor Manhattan disappears and appears restored. He removes the ring from Guy, squeezing it, Osterman destroys it.

Captain Atom tells the heroes to fly away from Mars and destroys Doctor Manhattan. As a result, a powerful blue explosion occurs, erasing the city and knocking everyone out. Waking up, the heroes congratulate Nathaniel and Raymond on their victory.

Fully recovered, Osterman destroys everyone who arrived on this planet, including Smith.

A few days later, Manhattan revives the heroes, brings to mind the Justice Society of America (0) and disappears.

Back on Earth, they declare that Osterman has been eliminated.

I hope you enjoy it.
