I — Begin of my creative process: POWER

“Like any sensitive person and art studen too, I started to look at around me in a diferent way. That happens when the education is given from the humanist vision, creating you a critical attitude facing this facts that show you. You looking for the cause of the things, facts or the situations of daily life; you find it and you bifucarte in the bitterness or hapiness. There begins your work as social communicator, as artist or as person that use sign and symbols to carry a message (sometimes not so direct, other it is) about you environment, about which anger you, about which weariness you, it disgust you or about wich you love or about which you so admiration it. In this way, as critical person, sometimes subversive person, I find myself in the necessity to create critical artistic material about my environment. I find in this way a pacific action achieve to be massive to make known my view to the world. I live in the Age of authoritarianism, absence of institutions and social decandence. Therefore, I chose the power as line of artistic research. I know that the along of the history emerged many debates about this topic and the art has been inside the spheres of power (economic and social power) or subordinate to him (subordinate to service of Church or sponsor until the artists could choose the topics, for example). However, the power forever has been (and will be) in the human history as method of domination and control of man.” (18/02/2017)

I wrote this text in 3th semester of the career. I started with POWER (as very important term) and I was looking for others like: everydayness, resistance, true, big, majestic, superiority, verticality, curved (i crossed up after), straight, cylinder, parallelepiped...

The first drawing was a power fight:

Two platforms anchored and supported by the ground, with a slab of thickness parallelepiped as a base with anchors to the ground, everyone wants to stay in the place where it is, a large figure curved length to be reached with the mouth of the other: his rival, who It is equal to it, but more panels and elongated. they are two figures in a dispute over power, content, strength, characteristic, quality, to fight to the death.

That was my first drawing with which I am currently working (following his concept), however I started later with a series that I will publish in my next post
