I can imagine it is frustrating when you don't get all the information but on the other side you have a 'free' hand and can play with the painting the way you want :) You can show your creativity which you've done very well. I love the background and that you matched it with the wall so that the dog comes in front of it. The dog looks kind and calm. I like that he is enjoying a nice afternoon :)
