RE: 'Tulip Mania'........from @bleujay's Skye Fleur Collection.

Thanks for showing the process. That is truly wild and cool. Very creative. From your comment below, it IS amazing how long almost any art takes to create. As you say, from thought to finish. My silly stories can take a couple of days now and then. And photos as well. And that is not really the same as 'hand' drawing, as you do. Though ruminating on an idea often adds much in the way of layering. It is nice to have that luxury, so let something sit, and think about it, and then continue. Adds a LOT to the idea/end result. Not always possible when trying to get something 'out' on Steemit in a timely manner. But it does happen.

Also, there is something to be said for wanting quality in one's creation. Which adds a lot of time in the mix. I'm not big on the 'grab it off the internet and toss it out' thing. After all, that is what this site was supposedly founded on, ORIGINAL works. That's one of many things I love so much about it.

Are you familiar with @donnadavisart 's work? She uses a tablet a lot. That is something I would like to learn. Hand drawing is fun, but is a real one-way street when you have no talent at drawing, still attempt it, and something 'goes awry'. Seems to happen often. But it's fun to still put it forth, when a photo is not present for an article. WOW, I seem to have really gone on here....hope you have a nice day.

Appreciate your dropping by @ddschteinn.

Thank you for your kind words regarding the work.

Indeed, one of the best things about Steemit is the expression of original thought.....through an assortment of mediums and categories. It is appreciated when one goes to the effort. We never know how long it may take someone to present the work. The main thing is that it is thoughtful original work.

Thank you for the note regarding donnadavisart's work....I shall certainly take a look.

I wish you well in your endeavours. ^__^

Cheers!
