DADA at MIT
Last weekend we were in Cambridge, Massachusetts for the MIT Hacking Arts Festival.

Judy, our co-founder, had a great conversation with Arjun Mendhi from Mtonomy, John Watkinson, creator of Cryptopunks and Choon, and Dan Piech from Vast, all projects that seek to pair art with blockchain in different ways.
A show of hands from the audience revealed that even at MIT not too many people were familiar with blockchain.
We spoke about the emerging market in digital rare art and about the fact that this is the most proven use case of blockchain so far, other than financial speculation.
Judy was quoted as saying that blockchain space feels like a cross between the Wild West and the Renaissance. Read more here.
The Hackathon connected to the festival was very inspiring. Students lined up to pitch their ideas for 45 seconds and then teams were spontaneously formed for people to work on the ideas they were excited about. It was great to see this spirit of openness and cooperation and to hear really fun ideas melding art and technology.

It is truly spectacular, @serste! They do all kinds of fantastic projects. And to see all those young smart people act on their ideas was very inspiring. I saw some prosthetics so I'm sure they do all kinds of wearable stuff. There was a virtual reality device that helps people meditate and gives them the feeling of levitating!
