DADA in Prague
Thanks to the wonderful @Furius, one of our artists on DADA, we had the opportunity to speak and have a workshop at the fabulous Lustr Illustration Festival in Prague.
The festival had a great exhibit of illustrators in two floors of a huge building and also different workshops and installations, including ours. We saw great stuff and met some amazing artists.
But the best part of it was that we were able to meet some of our artists in Europe. Some of them, like Javier and Serena have been drawing with us for years but had never met each other in person until now. It was very emotional!
@furius from Prague, @serste from Italy, Javier Errecarte from Spain, Beatriz and @grandenchilada from NY, and @reinhard-schmid from Germany meet in Prague in person for the first time.
Reinhard came all the way from Germany on his motorcycle which is the coolest thing ever. He also wrote a beautiful post about the experience.
We spent the weekend drawing on DADA live as many of our artists also joined from their corners of the world. And we drank plenty of delicious Czech beer and drew together on paper. It was a blast.

We also had the pleasure of speaking at the 2018 Hackers Conference organized by the Institute of Cryptoanarchy, which is a very cool place where they actually put their crypto where their mouth is and everything is sold with crypto.
Bea spoke about a new order for artists to a sold-out crowd of people who understand blockchain! Click on the link to watch the video.
Here's some of the art that was created by our artists in Prague and our artists all over the world:
It was all very bohemian and Belle Epoque
Portraits of birthday girl Odrisea, a DADA artist from Mexico
If you look closely at the second Odrisea portrait you will see that our artists in Prague were drawing together on the same frame.
Serena in Prague, Lirio in Peru and Lissette in Chile
We even had time for a little sightseeing.
It was a very intense weekend of friendship and art and we were all sad to say goodbye.
What a wonderful post to immortalize our experience in steemit blockchain :D You guys continue to be my heroes for totally grabbing the moment by the balls and coming all the way from NYC And also Italy, Germany and Spain and making this happen! Hard to find words , but Javier's message sums it up pretty good :D
Quite a few things happened there but most notably in Cyberspace now:
@serste is back and active on Steemit.com
@reinhard-schmid is back and active on Dada.nyc
OMG! I'm also very happy due to your post!
Que viva el arte!
