Thought of the day — Local Art feature #1
Good day Steemit! I’d like to branch out from my usual random thoughts for today, and instead feature a piece of local art that I received as a housewarming gift when I purchased my home in 2015.

(Piece is on a blanket because I removed it from the frame for a picture of the signature)
As you can see, it’s a wonderful painting of a stream, which I see as at a low point because of the banks being empty. Whenever I look at it I see a gentle waterway that says to me, “Be wary, for though I may look gentle now, I’ve clean swept these banks a million times in my rage; and I’ll do it a million more after you have gone from this place.”
