Hello here is my entry for the contest by @osm0sis:
The idea comes from a serious problem that we Venezuelans have at this moment, and that is because of our desire to emigrate to better lands and being so many, the government is not allowing us to leave denying us the most essential ... our passport.
We are all chasing our passport and for the luck of some who already have it, they prepare themselves with everything to go and improve their lives.
Here is the contest and I wish you to join us as all the funds go to another wonderful project A Walk of Hope

-create your own post featuring your drawing + drop the link of your post in the comments below (or I will miss it)
-you are free to use any medium you wish (pencils, digital, collage... whatever floats your boat)
-submissions will no longer be accepted after the post has payed out in 7 days

We're all learning so much about the situation in Venezuela through the entries to this contest, such a sad situation there, I had no idea.

Hi @immarojas like always, really sweet of you with your honest concern and desire to help. I'm trying to figure out a way to help. It's not easy when there are sooooo many people in despair. It's complicated, I wish I where a whale, or knew one willing to help. If you have any idea. I'm open to suggestions.
Starting small can go far too..having a whale is great, but if there's none, it will be us. What do you think is the best way right now? And how are all steemians there helping each other?
hmmm ultimately I think giving as large an upvote empowers them a lot since resources are key in oppressive situations. But if you want something more organized, you could write about this in a post that has an interactive component (a contest, a challenge, or some kind of project that extends a few weeks) where Venezuelan steemians can write about their experiences and a few of us can take these experiences and put them together into more posts almost like curation posts to raise awareness and earn $ to donate to contributors. Just brainstorming here....
what about you, any thoughts?
You have a good idea, I do not like to sell the misfortune of my country because of the fact that it puts me in very bad condition, the reality is that sometimes you do not eat two meals a day, I will think about it and I will speak in communities to see what they think

I've been watching the news and trying to follow what has been happening in Venezuela. What a horrific situation you and your people are going through... Noone should be denied access to better living conditions. I hope this BS (pardon my French) ends soon.

You guys can collaborate with each other and fundraise here...a few dollars can go a long way. So long as there are stuff to buy in the stores.
if there are things to buy in stores, the serious problem is how expensive food is for us, that we only earn less than 10 dollars per month
