Beauty is order, art is no accident

in #art8 years ago

When many people look at an impressive artwork, they may admire it, say "wow", even become engulfed in it, and then they say "Such talent! I wish I could do that," as if the artist was just born with the ability to shit out masterpieces.

Where the wildflowers grow

a wildflower

Why are people so quick to assume that what they see just arrived, without effort, perseverance, struggle, or a dedication to creativity? Perhaps they believe that art just grows, like wildflowers grow. Nobody had to plant them, nor water them, yet there are the daisies, smiling up at you. Even a daisy has to have passion for life, to grow its roots, to search for new water, and do whatever it can to deter pests. Make no mistake - that daisy worked hard to get where it is. Its life, and its beauty are no accident.

Tits

People see a beautiful woman and feel jealous. "Why does she get to be like that? Some people have all the luck." Yet, you can't see the hours that she spent researching nutrition that gave her radiant skin, all the times she had to step outside of her comfort zone to make new friends that finally gained her her confidence, and the habit of going to the gym three times a week that goes back years, so when the endorphines beam out in her smile they can say "What luck she has!" or "I guess everything is easy if you have a nice pair of tits..."

God's gift to women

When they see a man walk up to a lady in a bar, charm her and get her number, they might say "It's not fair! Why does he get all the girls?" But they never saw him, lonely at 16 or 18, unable to get a date, and they never saw him go through the heart-wrenching process of hundreds or thousands of rejections, the despair, the courage to overcome the despair, the death and rebirth of every atom of ego, leading to a new man. There he walks, arm-in-arm with a fascinating woman, and they say "Some guys get all the luck...."

To be powerful

Perhaps the greatest tragedy of this superficial perspective of the world, is that, certain people are forever unable to acknowledge their own successes. "I'm not good at x. I just can't y." But there was a time when you couldn't speak English, and there was a time when you couldn't read English, ride a bicycle, swim the Australian crawl or even hold a fork in your hand. Examine your own successes and you will find it difficult to escape this conclusion: you are successful; you are capable; and you can do today what was once unimaginable for you.

You are more powerful than you realise. In fact, you are more powerful than you can imagine.

Many things you have in your life are due to your own persistence and focused efforts, and many things around you are due to the driven creativity and will to live of other beings. You are free, in any moment, to acknowledge the power of those around you, and therefore, to affirm the power that is within you.

Conclusion - the daisy

The daisy's beauty didn't come from nowhere. It came from somewhere.

The daisy's beauty isn't just for show. It is more than just a pretty thing.

Beauty is order. Beauty is depth. Art is no accident, and neither are you.

I love tits, no preference - just tits. :D

Hello @churdtzu, I started doing calisthenics. I've been doing this for 3 months now, and I can related to your article. I was never popular, nor the high-profile-handsome kid/guy in any of my classes, I barely went unnoticed. I built a mindset of "that's good enough for me", where is a girl talked to me, I should commit inmediately to not lose the chance of something happening. I had to change my mindset, and my training my body and mind are now enhanced. I feel more confident, powerful, and capable, and I no longer settle for things, or for people that approach to me. Nevertheless, this doesn't mean I will turn a douchebag in anyway, I just realize of my potential. Good post.

Nice one Humberto. There are plenty of beautiful, sweet women in Mexico, so you never need to worry too much if it doesn't work out with one.

We all gotta start somewhere

Most people do two things very efficiently. They overestimate others and underestimate themselves.

When they overestimate others, they believe that the person has some invisible edge which makes him do something better than others. They judge by looking at the final product with knowing so many failures and hard work behind.

Underestimation needs no introduction.

Great post to present the idea. The craft of writing makes it more convincing.

I can relate to the one about the man's perspective. I had a girl taken from me by haters. That's the next level of the game I never knew existed.. I earned something and it was envied. She was manipulated and robbed from me due to the envy of what I had earned. It's fine though.. At this level of the game you also learn to be content with the truth that you were the true one that was meant to be, even if it may never be, ever again. Wait, no. Actually I'm still pissed off.

i think, i have andersrood your idea. But not a lot of people agree, if we look at upvotes. By the way - good luck)
