Our visit to Madurodam. Miniature city of Holland in The Hague! (4K videos included)

Holland greatest landmarks , build in miniature.

Incredibly detailed replica's , which form the architectural backbone of the Netherlands .

I always wanted to visit this "theme park" ever since i was a little kid.

And my wife was talking about it as well a few times. So i decided to surprise her with a day out :)

It was perfect weather , so i told her to get ready cause we had to go.

We walked to the train station , bought some tickets , without revealing the destination obviously 😃

After buying some snacks on our stopover , we continued our way to The Hague.

After arriving in The Hague , she of course already started to get notion of the planned activity.

Since this was my first time in this city as well , i decided to do the 3.3 km to Madurodam walking , so we could see more of the city .

After an half our walking we arrived at Madurodam , miniature wonderland !

We lined up at the counter and bought 2 tickets , costing 17,50 € each.

Pretty expensive if you ask me . But ok..

We started wandering around the park and were amazed by how incredibly detailed the buildings were .

Here are some of the famous Dutch landmarks :

There also was a lot of movement going around in parks. Replicated highways full of traffic , a working railroad track with trains stopping at several replicated Grand stations.

Taxiing airplanes and even boats sailing trough the Rotterdam harbour.

There were a lot of beautiful photo's to take of the various landmarks. Some amazing cathedrals , castles and of course the famous tulip fields !

After 1 hour and a half we pretty much seen everything there was to see. The park was a little smaller then expected , but hey , it's miniature! I could have expected it 😂 .

After we left the park , the surprise wasn't finished yet , since i would take her to a 'Boodle Fight' in a Filipino restaurant.
