When I left the house, I was greeted by a big fat caterpillar on the plum tree in my garden ...

... she stopped smoking just few days ago ... so she was talking a lot to give vent to her abstinence crisis ... she was weaving stories like an ordinary caterpillar would wave the cocoon ...

... then, a bit further down the road ...

... I met a paranoid mouse ... he was hiding from the invisible cats ... '' How do they look?" - I asked ... "Are they big and furry?" ... the mouse answered " The hell if I know, I never saw a cat, they are invisible" ...

... the mouse got a point ... I had nothing to add to this perfectly shaped logic construction ... so I continued on my way ...

... they were whispering in Ancient Greek, but they were whispering backwards ... not that I can understand this language when is whispered forward neither ... so I can't tell you what were they whispering about ... but sure sounded like some flower power conspiracy, if you ask me ...

... was filled with ghostly store front mannequins with eerie discount prices on them ... they were floating in the large sacral space like jellyfish in the deep sea ...

... the town was flooded ...

... but just for a moment ... this little deluge was less than a minute-long ...

... soon some interesting flowers appeared on the scene ... and then ...

... I met a cat ... she was shifting in and out of focus ... "I'm a Cheshire Cat's apprentice" - she said - "in a year or, so I'll be able to disappear and reappear, but for now I can only blur myself for short periods"

... and I found myself in a different version of the same town ...

... in this universe I was wearing a gas mask and everything, me included, was frozen in time, in a moment before some cataclysmic event ...

... but fortunately when I woke up in my rabbit hole, everything looked quite normal ... although not completely reassuring ... :D THE END ... as always in these trips on Steemit, the photographs and photoshop edits are my work... a little funny fact, the photograph of the park bench in the water was taken in 2005 during an actual flood around the pond in my hometown.
