For those interested in the details....
One of the many pleasures of the Christ-mas holiday is the inspiration that it gives for one's creativity.
Paperwhite bulbs, from the genus Narcissus, are traditionally a favourite floral decoration at Christ-mas time. They are typically planted about six weeks before the desired date of bloom, for some that would mean now is the time to set the bulbs in a planter, if one desires to experience them during the holidays, Once they have sprouted and are ready to bloom they can become quite weldy....reaching for the sunshine....as the drawing and painting demonstrate.
The painting is presented with the goal of illustrating the movement and beauty of Paperwhites/Narcissus in an interesting way.

I do wish I had taken a photograph of them all in bloom......in searching for a place from which to draw them...the perspective is from placing them on top of the refrigerator.... ^__^
Hopefully they will bloom beautifully this year as well.

There are different types of Narcissus, in our area mostly spread white but we see yellow too. I like when they come as a first sign of spring. Thank you for the description about these flowers.
I like your watercolor work, like how you used to many colors for petals, yellow-orange, green and pink, still the middle it white that makes a sense when we hear that white color has all the colors of rainbow, but only artistic eye can see and interpret it. Beautifully done, @bleujay and love your watercolor work :)
