Master Study - John Singer Sargent - Lady Agnew of Lochnaw

Here is another master study I did of a painting by John Singer Sargent - Lady Agnew of Lochnaw

I'm making multiple studies of his work to learn more about his technique and painting style.
I worked on an iPad Pro in the app Procreate.

I really love Sargent's use of color and his brushwork is wonderful. I feel my painting comes nowhere near it, but it is still a great practice!

      Marvelous sensuality and firmness that reflects in his eyes. The brightness that he achieves in her dress and the non-symmetry of her eyes, catches my attention.
