Portrait painting from life
Hello Steemians!
No progression photos today, just want to share the joy of painting from life. Last night I had the privelege to paint from life in the nice company of fellow painters Jafet Blanch and Pere Navarro here in Barcelona.
I am so happy to get back to this very important habit - doing quick sketches from different models from life, it refreshes artistic vision and improves understanding of color and skintones etc. needless to say this is a great training for achieving likeness and maintaining proportions.

Nice and beautiful, the good thing about hand work is that it improves with practice. Yours are so real, I wonder if you do sell them or it is just for fun. But keep it up, because every talent needs development.

Wow !! These painting is a piece of art. I always found it amazing when I see people do sketches from nothing. And their hands work light magic...

Thanks! I think the most of the effort goes to work we never show to others - all this failures and chores of constant practice ;)
Yeah and many do not know what artists goes through behind the scenes. They would be surprise and understand them more if they knew. Or be afraid not to take the chance if they have to go through something they would hate. So true man.
