many people out there think to make their own anime character especially for anime lovers, but a lot of them never try to make it happen. acourding to my self, i think it's not too hard to design some character because it don't have to exactly loke you, exept if you want to draw your own face on it ^^. since i start drawing until now i made a lot of drawing stuff wich i usually used to upload it to my instagram acount. and all of it is my Original Character, the reason is because i'm not so interested to make a fanart. Abou this character name, Tamara: this word has some story in my history XD, and Aoi: This word mean is blue, i choose it because the steemit icon is domination by a blue color, and the character also wear a blue shirt. Now i want to share about how i design them.. enjoy it XD.

Sketching step

• For the basic sketch, i did it on the paper then i captured it using my tablet camera. after got the picture, i add it as a new layer in the drawing application. after that i drew the line arts on it with low opacity because i want to fix the line arts later.

• here you can see, in this step i fix the linearts ousing a new layer and the new layer position have to be on the old layers.

• next, i fix the toes too. and draw it till that look like a real toes XD

• This is the final result of the sketching step, you can continue reading to the colouring step.

Colouring process

• in colouring process, just my advice "you have remember to always use the multiply layer and select only the shape that you want to colour it. because by selecting it, the colour will not affect to the other area". here you can see the example from the face colouring

• after selecting the hair, then i used a rather light color for the basic colour.

• next, i start to shading it with a dark color. to show the light effect on it hairs.

• Now, you can see the colours version, but it's not the last step because now we go to make it more a life looks like. XD

• at the left you can see the face without any hue effect, and at the you also can see the face with a hue. for the hue effect i made it by using the airbrush at a different layer from the skin colours.

• After that i try to draw the floor by drawing some line for the floor basic on the very bottom layer.

• here i start to colour the floor area with the bright color.

• and for the last step, i shade it with a dark color but it's not too dark so the bright color will still visible.
