Trumpeter E-75 1/35 Build update 007
45 degrees Celsius or 113 Fahrenheit. No painting today lol. But that's okay as there are no bad fires around and I have plenty of prep to do before the next session. So here we go! First thing that needs doing is the tracks, these have been painted brown already in preparation for fitting.
Of course as it will stretch a little as I put it on some of the paint will flake a little but this will be hidden later on.
As I mentioned in earlier posts I masked the join to the track guard or side skirts to make sure the paint didn't interfere with the glue.
I use a very expensive product to hold the parts in place whilst the glue sets. Blu Tac 🤣
Now comes the really time consuming part, the masking of the base coat so I can spray the Green camouflage on the tank.
Blu Tac covers some of the gaps on uneven and hard to mask areas.
Paper with cover the road wheels from the overspray of paint when I use the airbrush 👍
Four long hours of masking but the results should be more than worth it.
Thank you so much to everyone who has been commenting, voting and resteeming. I really appreciate all the support. Feel free to ask any questions you may have. Until tomorrow! 👍
You put such a large amount of work in the masking, i am really looking forward to see the result:)
@georgeboya Not long now 👍
Good paint masking is always a challenge, but it does make a difference in the results.
@amberyooper Sure does. Hope you are liking the build so far.
