Trumpeter E-75 1/35 Build update 003
Another day gone and the turret is done!
The tape is just to make sure the hull doesn't move whilst it dries. All the little parts you see on the turret are to hold spare tracks or other equipment to the side of the vehicle. A common practice in late war German vehicles. Easy to place but it a little time consuming lol.
I had a series of images showing this process but they no matter how I edit them they load upside down, as such I will only subject you to the last image of a piece being fitted. 🤣
Look at the size of the barrel on this thing lol. No wonder it was a paper (design only), panzer. The muzzle velocity would have been crazy.
I took this opportunity to fix the tow cables on the side of the hull. Fairly easy to do and looks a lot better.

I also changed my mind about having them lose and hooked them under the brackets for the barrel cleaners on the side. I think it looks much better.
Tomorrow I start on the painting and the tracks. 🤞
