Octopus in a labyrinth. I made this ink drawing on a print that I made using linocut.
Linocut is a printmaking technique in which a piece of linoleum is used for a relief surface. If you want to see a detailed process on how I made the linocut click here.
The pattern that I cut out of the linoleum is the pattern from a melon peel. From this I came up with the idea to make an octopus that will stretch its tentacles in the "labyrinth". I don't know where these ideas come from. I used a mix of blue/yellow ink and some black accents.
