CHING KECK HOW. Watercolor artist
A young artist from Singapore, Ching Keck How creates watercolors, using traditional Chinese technique.
Watercolor on rice paper - the technique is as old as humanity itself with light, but clear lines, translucent strokes, natural colors. There are fairly simple at first glance images: sparrows on the branches of bamboo, carp and catfish in the greenish water of the ancient pond.
But his choices are not accidental. These images bring not only peace and quiet in the house, but also well-being in the family (the sparrow is a symbol of human love), fertility and abundance (carp is a symbol of perseverance, courage, and, of course, male power).
I took his artworks photos from this site >> click

You've got a gift for this.
These are gorgeous!!! The colors are both delicate and vivid at the same time and exceptionally soft.!
I like the most transparency of the water
Que bien trabajo y excelentes Fotografías
thank you!
OMG, that one with fishes in the shadow. Wow. It puts anything I paint with watercolour to absolute shame. What a talented artist! Thank you so much for sharing this beauty with us.
I like to look closer on his works and try to guess how he painted those. and try to repeat process, even in small pieces - it's learning process anyway.
For sure!! Definitely a learning process.
Impressive works. We need more people like that on Steemit.
OMG !! It's like special effects in movies
Fantastic sense of light in some of these... in a medium that tends to fight it, brilliant.
yes, indeed
Always loved Chinese watercolors and these are particularly beautiful.
Never heard of the artist before, but I'll ask a few friends who might know more and can help find the official site.
