En serio me gusta el impresionismo, más allá del concepto de pintar la impresión o la luz y su manera de interactuar con el objeto, me gusta porque me hace sentir e imaginar. Hace algún tiempo me esmeraba en hacer que mis dibujos se vieran lo más realistas posible. Luego de horas de trabajo los miraba con satisfacción por un rato, y luego ya no me quedaban más ganas de verlos. "Si quisiera algo tan real como una fotografía, simplemente tomaría una foto", concluí. Entonces empecé a reeducar mi mano, y en este proceso las líneas cortas llegaron a mí casi que por inercia.
Es ahora lo que más disfruto hacer, delgadas lineas cortas monocromáticas como algunos trabajos anteriores, o con variación de color, como esta.

I really like impressionism, beyond the concept of painting the impression or light and the way it interact with the object, I like it because it makes me feel and imagine. Some time ago I tried to make my drawings look as realistic as possible. After hours of work I looked at them with satisfaction for a while, and then I had no more desire to see them. "If I wanted something as real as a photograph, I would simply take a photo", I concluded. Then I began to re-educate my hand, and in this process the short lines came to me almost by inertia.
It is now what I most enjoy doing, thin monochromatic short lines like some previous works, or with color variation, like this one.
