My first digital portrait!
Hi great people of steem!
I've recently got into digitally illustrating faces. I hope to sharpen my skills with time.
This is my first stab at it. I decided to draw a portrait of Elon Musk, because the man is great and is a fellow South African.
All the great artists out there please give me some constructive criticism, if it's not a bother.
Tomorrow I'll post my second attempt :)

No, but it has chat ;) (where you can send private chat texts as well) But I think I can post it here as a comment from postimage (direct link) - problem is it can't be raw/nef, but it'll be hr jpeg so it might work, let me know! Here it is !!! (let me know about the background though, maybe you need something more 'neutral'?)

Did you just trace the image and changed the colors of the elements? It is okay for a first attempt, but the nose definitely needs more attention next time. Less sharp edges. Keep on trying! :)
Hey @gabchik, I traced various pictures for different parts. Do you have any suggestions for different method? This is my first project on adobe illustrator and would love to learn more :).
You are completely right about the sharp edges, will watch more tutorials on that.

My approach will be to create all the vectors manually. Otherwise to trace it automarically and then edit the sharp edges. When you get more advanced, play with gradient colors. Good luck! Wish you inspiration.

I do like the second one as well, but I think this one is more of my style, fun kinda crazy you know!! Also my red hair are an advantage for this one I think haha! I'll let you decide but that's my preference :) Can't wait!!! :D
