Owl for Drawitbetter Contest Entry

This serves as an entry post for the contest.

This week's contest challenge is to draw an Owl. You can find more details about the contest here. It was fun drawing my most favorite animal. I think this one is my spirit animal because it's frequently present in most of my dreams. It is usually shaded into midnight blue.

Step 2: Darkening the lines with Black Gel Pen Ink

I don't use guides. I draw based on what my eyes can approximate. Non of my works are traced. I see the image I draw a copy without much erasures and redrawing. Saves me time and it works for me.
