''Pink Rose with Shell and Fruits'' - original acrylic painting
It's curious that generally I do not like to cut flowers or to see dead birds and animals. Yet, realism and hidden symbolism is what attracts me to this style. This painting style began to be very popular since the 17th-18th centuries because the interaction between art and nature was something very common in that time. It is also a very popular style, and even nowadays, searched and loved by collectors.
This is an acrylic painting I did few years ago and I hope you will enjoy watching it. :)

From the stoned-still flavor
On a rose petal.
Only the peace of the room
Could still hear
An echo hidden in a shell.

The warm hues and the brush technique reminds me of the old masters. Its as if you lifted this from a hidden vault, the execution is so timeless.
I especially like how you handled the reflections in the vase. You have a great eye for light and shadow.
Thank you for your words! :) I feel very inspired in my work by old masters and especially with oils I use their technique.
Such detail and beauty. Incredible job!
