Art Von Joc - painting from the depths of the Mežica mines [Legendary Slovenian artist introduction]

We have known each other quite some time now. I guess its already more then 10 years... :)
First a coupe of words about "The man".
"Joc" Jože Pečečnik (Jozhe Petchetchnik) is a Slovenian artist who has been living and working in Polena, Mežica since 1951.
A retired miner, who has been expressing his visions of life on canvas for couple of decades.
His work takes different aspects ranging from dark sinister primal youthful pieces of art over some realistic era and settling in the freedom of expression in his latest years.
Joc is a fine man, a gentleman in the word of appearance. :)
Well some time ago, we (me, his son and himself) figured out it might be a good idea to set up a FB page. :)

Joc is also hosting an other exhibition next week in Mežica, but since I didn't get any more infos about it I can't write a public invitation... :s
