Initially I was going to use pen, but suddenly I changed my mind.

I used only the knock-off Pentel® water brush for today's AM Scribbles. From personal experience, there's a distinct quality discrepancy between the two brands.
In this case, buy the good brand.

I toyed with the idea of using pen over the sepia ink to "fix" the mistakes. But in the end, this lady is keeping her face the way it was made originally.

A good story makes me smile.

It's always difficult to face mistakes.

If I could change one thing it would be telling my husband to go ahead with the line of credit. So close to paying our debt all off only to find ourselves neck deep in 40,000$ of debt all over again. Worst choice....now it consumes us.

And you?

What makes you smile?
Sunshine, adventures and @jschindler all make me smile. Not to mention all the Steemians with whom I mingle ☺

Is it difficult for you to face your mistakes?
Less difficult now than in the past. Mistakes show me I am progressing, evolving.

If you could go back in time to change one personal decision, what would you alter?
I would have switched majors and gone to university instead of stopping at the AAS. Part of me feels like I "missed out" on some experience by not finishing a degree. On the other hand, I have $0 in student loan debt, and that's something to smile about.

That's really neat. It would look good in an old-fashioned frame!

I haven't seen watercolor pens like that before. How long do they last?

Thank you @winstonalden for checking out day 5 and for the compliments!

I have had the Pentel® Aquash™ for a few months. It can take some extreme abuse. After I clogged it with extra thick white ink, I started using it more as a regular brush that I never have to wash. No matter what I do to it, the Pentel® keeps its point and its shape.

The knock off brand has a durable nylon brush tip also, but the water delivery is very iffy. Lines start dry and become instant puddles with the gentlest pressure on the barrel. Also the individual brush hairs are somewhat coarse, making thinner lines more difficult to lay down consistently. Another point to mention is that the cheap water brush came with 3 sizes for about the same price as one of the name brand.

I fill mine with ink or paint mixed with water, but these water brushes can be filled with water only to be used with paint from a pallet.

Enough about my supplies - Have you made anything recently with Krita? Have you seen @erodedthought's latest horrible art contest? As a self-proclaimed "un-artist", it could be right up your alley! ☺

You know, I haven't played with Krita in a while. Given that it's such a rainy day today, maybe I will.
