House A
The Walter & Walter Architecture Office is based in Melbourne, it was founded in 2012 by Andrew Walter and Michelle Walter. The duo explores the relationship between tradition, culture, sustainability and context in each of its architectural projects.
With House A, Walter & Walter has created a home where every room is connected with the outdoors, creating a dialogue with the surrounding nature. From the street, the house is completely airtight, closed and its blackened wooden cladding also gives it austere appearance. But once you pass the threshold of the door, you enter a real cocoon warm and relaxing where blend perfectly dark wood and light wood, large glazed surfaces and vegetation. I love this house!
