Architectural Photography - The Kimpton Rowan Palm Springs
The Kimpton Rowan is a brand new hotel in downtown Palm Springs that just opened last month. I was lucky enough to stay there over New Years. The building has a very cool, modern design with a few touches of midcentury that the city is so well known for. There was some controversy when this hotel was constructed because of its height of 6 floors (and a rooftop pool with cabanas). At 6 floors, it's the tallest hotel in the city now but it doesn't feel obtrusive at all. That's a compliment to its thoughtful design. It's definitely a nice addition to the city.
