1 week earlier and you were able to enjoy Ghent during their annual winter fest! Christmas markets, a lot of lights troughout the city and a lot of events! Lived in Ghent for 4 years and it never gets bored!
How lucky you are to live in such a charming city. Definitely need to go there during winter time.
