Baitul A'ala mosque Lil Mujahedeen ( Mesjid Abu Daud Beureueh )

Baitul A'ala mosque Lil Mujahedeen, became silent history for the people of Aceh Teungku Daud Beureueh struggle up on Earth Mecca's Porch. Standing at the side of the road the trajectory of Banda Aceh-Medan, in the town of Beureuneun, West, district Era Gampong Mutiara, Pidie. Among the Acehnese, the mosque has two towers known as the mosque of Abu Beureueh.

Masjid Baitul A’la Lil Mujahidin, menjadi sejarah bisu bagi masyarakat Aceh atas perjuangan Teungku Daud Beureueh di bumi Serambi Mekah ini. Berdiri di sisi jalan lintasan Banda Aceh-Medan, tepatnya di Kota Beureuneun, Gampong Jaman Barat, Kecamatan Mutiara, Pidie. Di kalangan masyarakat Aceh, masjid yang memiliki dua menara ini lebih dikenal dengan sebutan Masjid Abu Beureueh.

The mosque was built on the initiative of Teungku Muhammad Daud Beureueh in 1950 in an area of 10,200 m2. According to history, the mosque was built on the successful cooperation of the people of Aceh. In fact, the cost to purchase the material comes from donations of handful rice Acehnese, whether living inside and outside Aceh.

Masjid ini dibangun atas prakarsa Teungku Muhammad Daud Beureueh pada tahun 1950 di atas lahan seluas 10.200 m2. Menurut sejarah, masjid ini berhasil dibangun atas kerjasama masyarakat Aceh. Bahkan, biaya untuk membeli material berasal dari sumbangan segenggam beras masyarakat Aceh, baik yang tinggal di dalam maupun yang di luar Aceh.
