St. Francis Church - Mt. Velebit - Croatia

The church was built in 1832 by the Austrian emperor Francis I. It is located on, at that time newly opened road that was connecting south and north of Croatia. The road is crossing over the mountain Velebit and the church is at approx. 1000m height.
