Dear steemians, these photos about the archeticture were taken with my phone when I walked past Dalian friendship Square - Crystal ball.

It connects Zhongshan square in the east and Victory Square in the west . its north is Tianjin Street commercial street, the busiest central business district. So it located at the intersection of the most prosperous commercial street and. It always witnesses and demonstrates the vigorous development of Dalian.

The northeast part of the square is a European church style building. The dark red walls and sharp roofs add an ancient simplicity and elegance to the modern square.

The crystal ball is a landmark building in the friendly square. It weighs about 100 tons and is 15 meters high. The surface is enclosed by more than 3000 coated and transparent glass. There are more than 7000 red yellow and green color lights in the ball, controlled by computer programs, and all kinds of brilliant colors are flashing at night and can produce rotation effect.

The five colors of yellow, black, red, white and Brown are the giant hands that hold the crystal ball. The five continents of different ethnic skin color, is also the same with the traditional China five colours soil, to symbolize the people in five continents are friendly, work together to build a planet, also hold the city of Dalian – the beautiful pearl of China.

You can see the seafood hotels or restaurants around the square, such as the fishing port, Dalian sea royal house, and so on, you can taste all kinds of North and South seafood. But with the depression of Tianjin street, the prosperity is not as much as it used to be. In spite of this, it is still the center of the city , and the crystal ball is still the landmark of the city.

亲爱的朋友们，这是我用iphone 6 拍摄的大连友好广场的建筑，水晶球。它东邻中山广场，西接胜利广场，北靠天津街商业街，位于最繁华的商业街和最繁忙的中央商务区的交汇处，时刻见证并演绎着大连的蓬勃发展。

广场东北部是一座欧洲教堂式的建筑，暗红色的墙面和尖尖的楼顶都为这座现代感十足的广场上增添了一份古朴和典雅。

水晶球是友好广场的标志性建筑，重达百吨，高15米，表面由3000多块镀膜和透明玻璃围合而成。球内有红黄绿彩色灯7000多只，由计算机程序控制，夜晚闪亮变幻出各种绚丽色彩，能产生旋转效果。

托起水晶球的是黄、黑、红、白、棕五种颜色的巨手。这与五大洲不同民族肤色一致，也与中国传统的五色土相同，象征着五大洲各族人民友好相处，共同建设一个星球，合力托起大连这颗美丽的明珠。

友好广场附近的海鲜馆随处可见，天天渔港，大连海王府等等，你可以品味各种南北海鲜。但是随着天津街的衰落，此处的繁华程度大不如以前。但是尽管如此，它依然是大连城市的中心，水晶球依然是城市的地标。
